My 8 Favorite Avon Products

I’ve never been big on catalog or online shopping. I like to see the product with my own two eyes before a buy it. One of the exceptions to this rule, though, is Avon. Here are eight Avon products that I recommend for skin care needs, holiday gift ideas, or just a little splurge.

Face masks

You can get face masks anywhere these days, and they all pretty much look the same. But I’ve found that the Avon masks have a more subtle odor so you’re not overwhelmed by their scent. They make your skin feel clean, cool, and hydrated. I use them whenever I have a spare 15 minutes before bed to do nothing but sit and let the masks do their work.

You can buy them individually or in a three pack like these so that you can sample each version as you wish or use according to your skin’s specific needs. There is usually a sale on the three pack as well.

Nutura replenishing cream

This tiny jar goes a long way and with great results. It has just a hint of a peachy smell so you don’t go to bed feeling like you’ve just stuck your face in a bowl of fruit salad.

It’s not greasy, and it keeps your skin smooth even in the harshest winter. Put it on before bed or on one of those makeup free days when you just want to give your skin a rest and a boost.

Avon Senses shower gel

Avon body wash is one of the cheapest products that you can get on their site. I love their unique scents, such as cherry nutmeg, or even their more common ones, like vanilla. The upside down cap makes dispensing in the shower easy without having to shake the bottle like a maniac whenever it starts to run low. It also doesn’t squirt out of the bottle. You need to apply a gentle pressure to make it come out. So, you don’t waste the product by dispensing too much.

Foot Works deep moisturizing cream

There are lotions for every part of our body these days, but our feet need some extra attention, especially in the winter when our skin dries out and cracks. Just a drop of this cream will cover even my bulky size 10’s and any dry skin immediately disappears. I apply it everyday after my shower, and I can definitely see an improvement versus before I started using it, especially in the bottom of my heels.

Anew clinical eye lift

This is one of the most pricey items I’ve purchased from Avon in hopes of lessening the dark circles under my eyes. The jar is separated by two different creams inside. The orange gel is applied to your brow and lids, and the white cream is for under your eyes.

I don’t have wrinkles yet so I don’t know how effective the product is at smoothing your skin. But applying the cream feels like your eyes have just spent 15 minutes absorbing some cucumber slices. I’d wait for a sale before paying full price. But if the skin around your eyes could use some help, you should definitely add this to your cart.

Clear Skin blemish clearing overnight treatment

This sample size of blemish cream is a great purchase for anyone who fights to keep their skin clear. It comes out white, goes on clear, isn’t greasy, and you leave it on all night. So, no soaking your hair and clothes trying to rinse it off your face or having to apply multiple products over timed intervals in order for the treatment to work. It also doesn’t dry out your face, a feature that most products boast about but don’t deliver on. this cream is practical, effective, and worth the price.

Avon Senses body spray

The price of body sprays at Bath and Body Works can run into the double digits. And for what?  So that you can say that you smell like a Hawaiian Full Moon? What does that even mean? Avon’s body sprays are frequently on sale, come in straightforward scents, and you can buy their accompanying body lotion and shower gel to maintain a scented continuity in your beauty routine.

Avon manicure set

Why would someone with super short nails need a manicure set do you ask? To undo the damage I cause from biting them all day. I’m frequently in need of clippers and nail files to smooth out the jagged edges and hangnails that I accrue from my bad habit.

So, when I came across this set including clippers, a nail file, and an emery board, I knew that it would be the perfect item to throw in my purse for these nail emergencies. The little plastic case it comes in keeps everything together so I don’t have to worry about digging through the black hole that is every woman’s purse to try to find my tools.
